Hi,

Since recently I installed XP+SP2, and when I go to the directory "my
pictures" and try to order my pictures online, Windows doesn't show my the
pictures in jpg format. It does it only in bmp. So I can't select them any
more. I worked ok in XP+SP1. Does any body has the same problem or knows how
to correct this??

Thanx
Richard

See if this information helps. (Ignore the title)

No pictures are listed when you click the "Order prints online" wizard:

I'am sorry to say but it didn't work. I played a bit with it but in the
"ordering window" I can view bmp, tiff and gif-files, every thing except the
jpg/jpeg files. It still won't view this?????

Richard,

Can you post the contents of this registry key?

Ok,
(Because I have a dutch version I translated some dutch stuff)

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JPG
(Standaard) REG_SZ MediaJukebox.File
MJContentType.BAK REG_SZ Image/Jpeg
MJFileAssoc.BAK REG_SZ jpeggile
PerceivedType REG_SZ image

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JPG\OpenwithList
(Standaard) REG_SZ (no value)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JPG\OpenwithProgids
(Standaard) REG_SZ (no value)
jpegfile REG_NONE (Binare value with lenght zero)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JPG\PersistentHandler
(Standaard) REG_SZ {098f2470-bae0-11cd-b579-08002b30bfeb}

I hope that this is what you ask for....

Thanks,
Richard

Richard,

Setting the (default) to "jpegfile" (instead of "MediaJukebox.File") should help

Nope that still didnot work.....but with the help of your answer I try to do
some things meself. I compared the string of de bmp and the gif files. And
there was a difference in it. I deleted these two strings
MJContentType.BAK REG_SZ Image/Jpeg
MJFileAssoc.BAK REG_SZ jpeggile
Because (in my opinion) BAK means backup. And I add a new string in it,
which I copied from the BMP.
So the new string of jpg and jpeg looks now like this:

(Standaard) REG_SZ jpeggile
Content Type REG_SZ Image/Jpeg
PerceivedType REG_SZ image

And that's it. Now works perfect.
So Ramesh, thank you very, very, very much!!!!
