OnLine Error on SCSI adapter

I have a raid five system with 5 drives attached. The R5 has 3 volumes. I
have one volume, drive K that will continue to fail. I changed 1 hard drive,
the online error moved to the other drive. It will not reactive. it continues
to fo into a failed redundancy state. Adaptec said it couldn't be there card.
the tech told me that the OS could have a Raid 5 problem. I run Server 2000
spk 4 with all the patches.
Is it possible that the OS has a problem with only one data volume with in a
raid system and not the others?

Doesn't seem likely since a hardware raid is invisible to the operating
system. What does controller bios have to say about it? You can download a
diagnostic utility from the drive manufacturer's web site to test the
drives. Are you rebuilding the array in controller bios?
