Excuse my porr manners, I didn't know which Newsgroup to post this problem too.

OneCare Firewall:

The Firewall for OneCare stops the Newsreader that I have installed.

The location that "OneCare" gives is D:0:\Newsrover

I have it installed on K:\ drive.

Might you have an idea how to work around this problem?

Hello Rover,

You did fine to ask for directions here.
I'm not familiar with where all of the settings are for OneCare.
However, in the main windows of OneCare, under Other Tasks (on the left
pane), select "View or change settings".
Next, click on Firewall tab. Check your settings for the firewall.
Experiment with switching the setting between PROMPT and AUTO , or vice
versa.

There are Microsoft forums for issues with OneCare. The one listed for
firewall issues is

This is the home (main) entry for OneCare forums.

The forums there will hopefully provide more details.
