Onecare and Vista Home premium

I have found onecare totally useless in performing a regular tune-up
completely without turning off virus and spyware monitoring and cannot be
turned back on without rebooting the pc.

and every time I do that I have to restart the tune-up.

It is an ever ending circle of irritation.

I just wonder if I had done a clean install instead of an upgrade whether it
would have made any difference.

Has anyone e4lse had this issue with onecare.

I have OneCare on 2 XP systems and 1 Vista Home Premium (clean install). No
issues so far. Tune-ups are scheduled weekly.
