I think my original post slipped thru somehow. I hope this one gets read.




Chuck here is the browstat and ipconfig from the dektop that is not
accessable from the laptop. Like I said in an earlier post we did have
it working for a little while then lost it.

Can someone translate the browstat status posted here so we can get the
XP Home laptop so connect to the XP Pro destop.

Brian,

As I've said before a number of time, diagnostics are most useful when provided
for all parties in the problem, and extracted at the same time. That means
running "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" for all computers, not just the
one on which the problem may be observed.

Please try again.

Brian,

So far, you've posted 4 copies of data from Laptop (2 here, 1 in each message
above). You keep labeling your posts as Desktop data (for instance):
But calling the Laptop data Desktop won't help us solve your problem. Or am I
overlooking something, and if so, I trust that you will enlighten me.

Thanks for all the help! We finally got it working! The problem is I
am not sure what did it but here is what we dd do:
Turned off browser on desktop
Turned on browser on laptop
Turned off guest account on desktop.
There were some issues to work on with norton firewall but we got that
going too!
