One user of Outlook Business Contact Manager?

I work for a smaller company and I am the one and only sales professional
here. We have an old copy of Maximizer (last entry was 2003) that was used
by the sales team back when. My precessor did not use any kind of contact
manager software, so the company has let this pass, until I was hired.

As a company we use Outlook as a POP/SMTP. I would like to load Outlook
2003 with Business Contact Manager on my system, but my fear is it will cause
problems for email not only for myself but for the entire company. As you
can imagine, any email problems would be bad.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Outlook should work with POP/SMTP, irrespective of whether BCM is
installed or not. BCM's interaction with the email system is limited to
linking emails in Outlook to BCM contacts. BCM does not affect the
operation of the email system. In the past there have been problems
with installing Outlook and BCM with Exchange accounts, or on the same
machine as the Exchange server, but I think those have been resolved in
the latest versions.
