One URL crashing my IE

Only when I go to retrieve my "hotmail," my IE crashes. This happens every
time the past week, within about 2 minutes. I have XP Pro, SR2, all updates
current, Windows Firewall ON, Defender, AdAware (daily), and Avast. Nothing
other than 'cookies' found on scans, and a few minor thingies.

Any idea what I can do, or did? Thank you very much.

TY...have done the first two, and keep things pretty clean, but not the

Thank you.

Do not have MS Messenger installed. Only use hotmail via Browser (IE). TY

Believe it or not, the browser stayed open just now in picking up my
"live.com" emails. Sheesh.

I always clear the cookies and files in IE/Tools/Internet Options, and run
Scan Disk weekly. Pretty consistent in the URLs I visit, too. No surfing --
no time -- no eyes.

There are too many causes for crashes. I just picked on that error
message and the following link because it's an easy search at the MSKB
site.. many hits, that is. This article shows just a few programs. You
might look for malware too.
