One Slide doesn't advance automatically

I have PowerPoint 2000 and just put together my first presentation.
Everything seems to work fine except my 4th slide doesn’t advance
automatically in the 40.7 seconds that it is set for. I used the rehearsal
option to set all the times and the other work fine. I have looked everything
over and am at a loss as to why it doesn’t work. When I hit right click and
look at that slide in the sorter, it looks like it’s set just like the
others. Automatic is chosen, (although the mouse click is also checked – but
it is in the other and they work) Please help! Thank you.

It is possible to get 40.7 seconds when using Rehearse Timings to determine the
transition timings. And you can also enter 40.7 in the slide transition
"Automatically after" box and it will stick. However, if the slide says 40:07
in the Slide Sorter view, then it has somehow been manually set incorrectly, or
gk68gto left the room for a long time while rehearsing the timings. <G> Slide
Sorter will show :41 if it is set to 40.7 seconds.

Yes, it has sound, but so do all the other slides (voice) and no problem with
them. I have deleted the slide and redone it (twice now) and it appears it is
working alright now, but I have no idea what I changed. Used the same info,
in fact copied the picture in the slide and pasted it. Right now it's
working, hopefully it will continue without any problems.
Thanks.
