one project tasks

I have a big project with many tasks, my question is how can i biuld the
tasks for this project without without mixing these task with my general
tasks?
can I get a dialy report for the status of all the tasks?
can I get a full status for one task from the begining time till idenntified
tim?
how?

One approach would be use a different category for each project.
