Outlook PST file access

Hi Team,

In outlook 2007, One person created a new PST and stored the PST in local
drive and its shared machine. Both the person have administration rights on
the machine.
Therefore, One person PST file is accessed by the other person

Could anyone tell me the reason, how the PST file of one person is accessed
or viewed by other person. ??

Administrative rights allows you access to other user folders under Documents
& Settings. It allows you to browse the user folders and access the files
within. This means when Outlook is set up for one person, they can browse to
and add the PST of another person to their Outlook since the PST must be kept
on the local machine.

Why do they need admin rights to the PC unless they are Network
Administrators or something similar?
