Hi,

I have a PC with a new ADSL connection, which works fine under the
windows account it was set up with. Many people use this PC though and
they all need to use the same ADSL account. How do I get XP to use the
same connection for all users on the PC without having to have them
login and set the connection username and password again under their
own account?

TIA,

Chandy

normally when creating the conenction(its a dial up i assume) it asks if the
conenction shoul be available for everyone or just for you

Or get an Ethernet router instead of the modem. Easier to setup, more
reliable, and user-account independent. Might save you being hit with malware
too.

Oh tell me about it. Yeah would be ideal but it's not my machine,
hardware or money unfortunately.

There's an option to save the username and password for everyone but it
seems to keep corrupting the password so it has to be re-typed. Or it
could be that talk-talk is s**t, hard to tell so far.

ta anyway.
