I started up my system this morning and ALL my programs and files are
gone except for those on a different drive. Unfortunately the my drive
C: was where the bulk of my programs were. I have never experienced
this situation before and after several attempts I was able to final
get to "My Computer" and run a scan on my C: Drive (It is scanning as I
type)

I assume I got hit with a virus?

I recently installed System Suite 6 and unfortunately may have put th
nail in the coffin with this.

Can someone help me understand what my next step is. HOPEFULLY I ca
recover my C: and do a virus scan.

Thanks so much.

Unfortunately the scan did not work. I found another post where you
insert your windows XP cd and hit F8 until the area comes up to hit "R"
for repair. Unfortunately this does not work either. The funny thing
about this entire thing is that it still shows almost 3/4 of my C:
drive full but all of the programs show empty folders? I am really
confused. Your help would be appreciated.
