On how to force mmc to set up correctly

With a pci-e graphic + sata raid.
Is an "x" version of mmc required in order to use the dvd player, and
the eazyshare features for such pci-e cards ?

MMC 9.15 won't install if no Aiw card is detected, it is provided as an
update.
