Hello,
I continue to have issues with MS06-015 or so I believe. I have a 400+
desktop and about 20 servers. I continue to have the slowness and complete
freezing when you browse. I have removed the patch from my servers. The
desktops should have the latest patch on them. We have been playing with the
reg-hacks just to see if that would help... Is anyone else having this many
problems so should I be suspecting something else now?

Thanks Julie

I haven't dealt with as many systems as you are working with, but I
have not encountered any instance of MS06-015 related problems that
were not fixed by uninstalling it (and then installing the updated
version of it).

Try MVP Kelly Theriot's vbs script for these problems:

Good luck

Julie,

I had couple of computer at my work place and My OWN pc at home had the same
problems, Go to the TASK Manager and see if the Verclsid.exe Process is
running, if it running end the Process. Go to the link below and the patch is
on the home page.

We haven't ever seen that running on our pc's. We have removed the patch from
our desktops and servers, and renamed the exe. Also have done all the reg
hacks that have been posted by others. We continue to have issues but we just
cannot seem to pin-point the problem, other then it started when we patched.
I am now thinking its a network issue or something.

Thanks
Julie
