verclsid.exe make me suck

Hello, this is my first time to post here.

As we know, recently MS published KB908531 as a solution to MS06-015. One of
the new things included in 908531 is verclsid.exe. However, when I installed
the patch and reboot, some of my programs crashes when verclsid.exe run.
Here're some examples.

1) When I run up my Ulead PhotoImpact 8.0, it hangs before it completely
loaded.
2) When I use the function of "Copy to folder..." function of Explorer, it
hangs also.

Sadly when I terminated verclsid.exe at Task Manager, all "hanged" programs
go normal again. So I suspecting this new thing make me suck.

Of course, I would like to have my system goes normally, without any forced
termination of program.

Lastly, the config. of my system:
WinXP Home Ed. (zh-tw ver.)
With WMP10, WLM 8.0.566 Beta, Office 03 Pro, IE 7.0.5335.5 Beta 2, installed.

Thanks in advance for all your help

Uninstall the update or do a system restore prior to the update, MS is aware
of this problem and will no doubt re-release this update at a later time.

By any chance, do you have an HP Scanner or AllInOne printer installed
with the software installed?
Thanks,
