OMS 2007 - SMS messeges to group (global address list) not posible

P

peleg

use outlook 2007 and I enabled the the outlook mobile service so I can send
sms messages to contacts.
what I found out is that once you send a text message to a group from global
address list the message is sent as an e-mail and not an SMS message.

does anyone know if is it a bug.
maybe Microsoft released a hotfix but I can't seem to find any relative
information over the internet.

thanks

1)what do you mean by : Do all members have an SMS address identified in the
GAL?
2)i found that the problem was that the "Mobile" files was not updated.
but i still have a problem - when i build a group, and even if all the group
members have a phone number in the MOBILE filed, they all get email instead
os SMS
any idea?
Thanks in advance

by design when one member does not have an email address.
