OLE Objects

Hi eveybody,

Hope some one can help me, I know this is probably a dumb question but here
goes,

I want to insert a banner and watermark on my reports I have save both
pictures as OLE objects in a seperate table, the reports are generated from a
query in total I have 36 reports in two sets of 18. On each report I want a
company heading as a banner and watermark. How do I do this, I've tried doing
a bound object but get no picture, if I embed the picture in the report it
bloats the DB, Linking is fine but if the DB is moved from one location to
another then I have to reset the links.

Hope this makes sense,

Hi Tom,

That works for the banner, but how would I set a subreport to be at the back
so the picture is shown as a watermark?

Hi Souchie,

Watermarks are not supported in Access 2003 and earlier. I don't know if
there is any support for them in the new Access 2007 that is currently in
beta release, but I haven't heard of any such feature. If this capability is
really important to you, then you'll probably need to use MS Word with VBA
automation code to create your reports. That is quite a bit more challenging,
versus using the reporting capabilities that are built into Access.

Thanks for the info I'll leave it as is for the time being and if it becomes
a major problem later I'll try and sort it then

Many thanks
