Ole Object Not Printing

A

Andy

Hi;

Installed a runtime version of an A2K dbase.

One of the Rpts prints 3 pages. This Rpt has Page 1 and it contains a
Sub-Rpt that contains pages 2 and 3 .
The Sub-Rpt contains 2 OLE Objects, one Ole object a Page Break and the
Second Ole Object.

When the rpt is previewed it shows 10 pages. Text, blank page, Ole Page 2,
a blank page, Ole Page 3, a blank page, ETC,

Know what that is, the printer on that computer can't set the margins to
such a small number.

However the Ole Objects do not print at all. Even though they are displayed
on screen in preview do not print anything but a line going down the left
side of the page.

Print all 10 pages and page 1 has the correct text the remainder of the
pages only print a line going down the left side of the page.

The Ole objects are set to Can Grow/Shrink=No and the Fill/Back Color of one
object is transparent the other is White.

Anyone have any ideas why this should happen?

Thank You for taking the time to read this post.

I would guess that the system containing the runtime version of Access DOES
NOT have the same application installed( and registered for this specific
file type) to act as the OLE Server as the original development system.
The only solution is to install on the runtime only machine whatever
application was originally used to insert the OLE object in the first place.
