older hp printer

my printer is a hp4050 it was produced before win xp and
will not print what do i do microsoft and hp won,t help

there are patches on www.hp.com or www.hp.co.uk or the microsoft windows
update website which there is a link on your start menu on your windows xp
computer to solve the driver problems
