I have saved backup files on floppy from my old computer
which ran on Windows 95
I now have a computer which runs on Windows XP home
edition.
Does anyone know how i can read these discs.

If you used Drive Space on the floppies, they are unreadable.

Put them into the drive and dub click the 3 1/2 floppy in the "My Computer".
Works same as 95, unless you did some strange thing to the floppy.

There are problems with XP and floppies. The best suggestion I have found
is: Go to a non XP machine, copy the contents of the floppy to that machine
and e-mail it to your XP machine as an attachment.

Not In XP.....wrong format.
You're full of cr*p. XP and Win95 both use FAT12 for floppies. The
problem has to be elsewhere.

Try formatting a floppy on your XP box, taking that disk to the 95
box, and copy the files onto the newly formatted floppy. See if that
works.
