Old e-mails never clear, constantly reappear in Inbox

Everytime I open Outlook it downloads all my old emails as if they were new.
I posted this problem before and thought it was fixed, but I was wrong. Can
anyone help?????
 
What version of Outlook? Have you applied all service packs? What sort of
mail account?
 
Outlook 2003, Version 11. I just installed it last month, so no I've not
applied any service packs. I'm going to look into that now, thanks! I'm using
a POP3 account. Does that matter?
 
I only know of this happening on POP3 accounts, so that does matter. Try
applying the service pack, as it does have some fixes related to duplicate
messages. If that doesn't help, post again and we'll see if we can figure
it out.
