1) Yes, the new file format can grow to a practically unlimited size
(several thousands of TB)

2) create a new pst file and copy the folders from on pst-file to the other

I have been using a OL2k format PST as I move my PST on a portable HD around
different versions of Outlook (from 2k to 2003). I have now got all machines
running 2003. I now have a couple of questions:

1. is it worth upgrading the PST to 2003 format?

2. If so what's the best / easiest way to do it?

Thanks.

if you need the larger format size or Unicode support, definitely yes.

To upgrade, you;'ll need to move messages to the new pst. Import should
work, but moving will preserve links between items.
