OL2003 Contacts

I have a client that views thier contacts via the Navigation pane in
OL2003 - all fine.

The problem is that when they compose a new email, select the To button
and browse contacts, the list of contacts is different from that viewed
through the Navigation pane.

I can confirm that this person only has one Contacts list.

Any ideas on this on much appreciated!

thanks,

colin.

In what way is it different? The address book is not a one-to-one mapping
of the contents of Contacts. It will show only those contacts that have
electronic addresses like email addresses or fax numbers. Moreover, those
addresses must be resolved (signified by underscoring) in the contact item.
Additionally, they may be sorted in a different order depending on the sort
options specified when the contact folder was published as an address book.

Brian,

I see, i did not realise that address book would not show exact
replication of contacts and vice versa.

I will confirm that the contacts that do not appear in the address book
do not have a email address or fax number.

Thanks for you your assistance.

I'll let you know.

cheers.
