Hi,
I have a user who I had to rollback to Office 2000 from 2003 ( various
reasons ).
I backed up her .pst first, and followed MS's instr for importing a 2003 pst
into 2000. All went well, but the contacts had gone missing.
After she had finished what she needed to do with 2000, I changed her Office
install back to 2003.
And the contacts are still missing. I used the original pst from her 2003
install, but they're still missing.
-Ive tried File/Import from the original pst.
-Tried adding the original pst as a personal folder
-Tried starting Outlook2003 with the /resetfolders switch
-Tried setting up a new profile using the original pst
-Tried the pst repair tool.
All with no effect, all her emails are there but no contacts, and I can even
confirm that the pst is the same size as it was when it was in use on the
first 2003 install.
I've read dozens of pages and threads relating to the contacts folders going
missing.
But nothing suggested so far has worked.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
