Is there any problem moving pst files between OL02 & OL 03 ?. I think OL02
uses a different format...But I don't know about 02 to 03 and back ?
Thanks, Tim R

PST files created in Outlook 2003 using the new format are not compatible
with earlier versions. In Outlook 2003 you can always create a PST in the
old format (File > New > "Outlook 97-2002" Personal Folders file) if you
want them compatible with earlier versions.
All PST files from earlier versions are perfectly compatible with Outlook
2003.

Thanks Russ...just got a pocket pc/phone with Windows Mobile..the Outlook
version included is OL2002. If I don't convert my Office/Outlook 2003 files
to the older format..am I going to have problems synchronizing between my
desktop (OL2003) and my PocketPC ? When you synchronize...are you
transferring the entire pst file back and forth....or just changes in the
pst file ? ??

Thanks...

You shouldn't have any problems, but you should check with the manufacturers
of your Pocket PC's synchronization software to make sure it is updated to
be compatible with Outlook 2003. The PST file format will not be in play
here.

Your phone will sync just fine with Outlook 2003. Use ActiveSync V3.8 for
Windows Mobile 2003 or 2003 SE and ActiveSync V4.1 with Windows Mobile V5
