Thanks Russ...just got a pocket pc/phone with Windows Mobile..the Outlook
version included is OL2002. If I don't convert my Office/Outlook 2003
files to the older format..am I going to have problems synchronizing
between my desktop (OL2003) and my PocketPC ? When you synchronize...are
you transferring the entire pst file back and forth....or just changes in
the pst file ? ??
Thanks...

PST files created in Outlook 2003 using the new format are not compatible
with earlier versions. In Outlook 2003 you can always create a PST in the
old format (File > New > "Outlook 97-2002" Personal Folders file) if you
want them compatible with earlier versions.
All PST files from earlier versions are perfectly compatible with Outlook
2003.

Is there any problem moving pst files between OL02 & OL 03 ?. I think
OL02 uses a different format...But I don't know about 02 to 03 and back
?
Thanks, Tim R
