OL2000 email setup

I wish to set Outlook to retrieve email from a Hotmail.fr box. Using
the OL Express account wizard, I selected HTTP, Hotmail; exported and
saved the Hotmail.iaf file; and then imported it into Outlook. All
seemed okay; however I cannot access the Hotmail box.

This is the address created by the wizard and now showing in the
properties dialogue box for the new hotmail acct: http://
services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp .

AFAIK Outlook 2000 has trouble supporting Hotmail - that was implemented
properly in Outlook 2002

As far as I'm aware Hotmail doesn't support email via outlook or OE anymor
except by paying and upgrading to Hotmail plus.
