OL locks up - only in Deleted Items

I have a user who's Outlook client locks up when trying to delete emails from
his Deleted Items folder. Sometimes it locks up when simply selecting an
item before he even has time to hit the delete button. It happens when
selecting a single item or multiple items. Task Manager shows OL not
responding.

He has no issues whatsoever in any other OL folder - just Deleted Items.

Things I've already tried without success:
I've created a new OL profile for him.
Logged him onto another computer.

OWA works just fine - no issues. Any ideas?

Outlook 2003 SP2
WinXP SP2
Exchange 2003 SP2
No pst files

Have you tried to REPAIR the install through Add/Remove hardware? This
can help so many things.

I have not ran a repair, but the problem is there even from another machine
so unlikely that it is the app.
