OL 2003 unable to see .zip file to attach to outgoing email?

Me again,

Sorry for the flurry of questions...:-/

Using OL2003 under WinXP when I create a .zip archive using either WinZip or
the built-in WinXP Send To Compressed Folder' function when I browse to
where the .zip file has been created I do not see the archive despite
Explorer telling me it is there??

I am guessing some security setting may be preventing the .zip archive from
being seen but I am also guessing there is a way to change its behaviour...
