Using software that came with a digital camera software, (OL 2003), a
friend attempted to send 33mb of pix using the "send a photo via email"
software.
She is using an MSN broadband account so bandwidth should not be a problem.
However, some limit must have been reached because the item is forever stuck
in the Outbox, preventing her from sending anything else. If she tries to
delete or move the item from the Outbox, she gets this alert:
"Can't open this item. Outlook has already begun to send this message."

Is there some way to shake this message loose and abort the process so she
can continue using Outlook? (System has already been rebooted, etc.) I also
attempted running from /safe:2 and /safe:3 to no avail. I thought maybe the
camera software may be intervening in the background, but it doesn't seem to
be among the running processes (though it's possible I just can't see it).
Thanx,

She can try clicking on file | work offline - then try to delete the item -
or restart outlook & try again. Once done, she can disable offline use.

A message with a 33MB attachment will likely not be deliverable anywhere,
even if her own ISP/mail server were to allow an attachment of that size.
She probably ought to look into Shutterfly or other online photo services so
she can just send people links....
