OL 2003 Signatures show no pictures in mails

Dear users,

I am using OL 2003 on XP SP2. In Outlook I am trying to set signatures for
mails. I would like to mail with the OL-Program, not with Word. I created my
signatures according to the instructions in the help and the help online. I
could solve the problem with the line spacing. But I cannot solve the picture
problem. They show all right in the preview window in Tools - Options - Mail
format - Signatures and do have the pictures at the right place. Also in the
folder Signatures in the System the htm-files are all right and carry the
pics. But when I open a new mail (not with Word) there is a space holder
instead of the picture, not even with a red cross, simply empty. I cannot
figure out what I did wrong.

Have you tried this:

1) Tools menu, click Options
2) Click the Security tab
3) Under Download Pictures, click Change Automatic Download Settings
4) Clear the Don't download pictures or other content automatically in
HTML e-mail check box.
