OL 2003 invitation did not convert in OL 2000

Using Outook 2003, I sent a calendar appointment invitation through the internet to a user using Outlook 2000. When the user opened the email, it was not fomatted with "Accept", "Decline" buttons. It was only all text and included "code" that starts with BEGIN:VCALENDAR... etc. I tried different formatting options. Is this a conversion or formatting issue? Any fix/change I can make
Thanks

Nevermind. The answer was in KB 307313. It's because OL 2000 can't interpret the TRIGGER keyword. The work around is to: do not check the Reminder box when composing the invitation in OL 2003.
Thanks.
