Okidata ML320 Turbo Question

I have a client who prints out order sheets to an Okidata. The sheets
they print to, are based on a half of sheet of paper, separated by a
tear off perforation. The printer is currently Top Form correctly, but
after the print is done, it feeds to the end of the next blank sheet.
This ends up doing one of the following: The printer is shutoff to use
the knob to reset to the top of the skipped page, or two a blank sheet
of order form skipped every print out. In the setting under MENU on the
printer, the length is set to 5.5 which should be correct, and Form
Tear off is also correct. How can I tell the printer only to use one
sheet, and then end up at the tear off point, before skipping the blank
page? Do I need to use the Printer Preferences on the Windows 2000
workstation Printers, or something in the Okidata?

Windows 2000 Pro SP4, Okidata ML320 Turbo D.

Any suggestions?

I expect the answer is both. The printer internal menus should match your paper
length and your post indicates that they do. The platen knob should never be
needed in normal operation.
I would expect the driver has to be set to match the same paper length, and for
some applications that may be necessary within the application itself.
Does this model have a "tear" button, most ML series do but not all, if it does
then the tear setting in the printer will also need to be set.
