Okay, if I go to run and type in MSconfig or MSconfig.exe
it pops up w/a message saying windows can't open that
file. That for window to open it it needs to know what
program created it. If i double click on any icon in my
start up menu it won't let me in. says it doesn't know
that file...same as what i said before just different
file. Ummm...lets see...i can't go into control panel, i
can't run my adaware/spybot/etc.(yes i did do those
already and it didn't get rid of this brower hijacker so
i had to do it manually, but i don't know enuff about it
apparently and I messed it up). I can't run a program
that has .exe
I deleted all of the .exe files in my registry. Yes, I am
dumb/stupid whatever you wanna call me. I messed up.
Would anyone please help to fix my mistake??

You may need the EXE File Association Fix (Restore default association for
EXE files)

[[Windows® XP File Association Fixes

The files listed here are all ZIP files, which contain a REG (Registry)
file. Download the ZIP and open it. Extract the REG file to your hard disk
and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be
viewed in Notepad. Each of the REG files contains the default settings for
the file extension indicated. For the ZIP file fix, the download is a REG
file, since ZIP's aren't working anyway!]]
