I have a DI-704P router on a DSL line that I can not
use "ask for remote assistance" using MSN or windows
Messenger or the e-mail method. The network works fine
and all computers can get to the internet. All computer
settings are set and works behind the router on the
network. The router and tree of the computers worked at
my location with this router, but on a cable modem. MSN,
E-mail and the internet works on all computers on the
network. MTU is set to 1492. The router is set for remote
Admistration with my IP that does not change, but that
will not work either. The DSL Modem is a Westell
Wirespeed B90-36R51601.
Oh one other thing they can not get to my router or
remote assistance to my computer when everyone else can.
Basicaly no in or out.

Check out this site:
http://win98private.net/remote_assistance.htm

You can get your router's IP Address by going to
http://www.whatismyip.com/

Then you will have to set up port forwarding for port 3389
in your router configuration. Your router manufacturer
will need to support you with that if you are unsure of
how to accomplish that procedure.
