Thanks

It depends on where you bought it. Ask the vendor.

Hi Malke:

You may want to reconsider.
If your hardware is good enough to load Win XP, there shouldn't be too much of a
problem.
I'm a living testimony: too old to really want to change from W 98 (which I
love), I finally adapted my PC for dual boot: Win 98 and Win XP.
That way, at least, I had not given up Win 98.
Once I started using XP, I found that what I feared most was the fear of
changing over.
Recently, I had reason to totally wipe my HD's, and installed Win XP only.
Now, I don't miss Win 98 anymore.

My advice: give it a chance.

I was looking for it's creator which would be Microsoft. I purchased
from Circuit City and they refused refund as I had opened the package.
When I tried using the logic that it would have be beyond my
capabilities to test the software without opening the package, well
let's just say it was lost on the 'where-ever return person/assistant
manager'. First and last purchase from Circuit City.

Steve;
Unfortunately many retailers have a similar policy in spite of the fact it
is easy to return.
You can return it directly to Microsoft within 30 days.
See the link on my last post.
