XP Home Undelete Recover Software

I have a problem, my eMachine, XP Home, computer crashed or something
it restarted and said; BOOTMNG missing

Press contr+Alt_del

I did and still it wouldn't do anything.

So I had to reinstall the XP Home Operating system...and now everything
is gone, even the stuff that came with the computer.

The software and stuff is gone... is there anything I can do to get it
back?

Is there a DL of Data recovery software? Or HD undelete ?

When I look in a search engine, the message seems to be associated with Vista.

You should have stopped right there, and looked for help
right away. Doing a restore from a hidden partition, or using
a retail or OEM installation CD, is going to make a mess.

Have you, by chance, been dual booting Vista and WinXP with your
disk ? Better be honest about how complicated your setup was,
before you blasted it to bits. There has to be a bit more
to this story.

You may be able to get some of your data back with a data recovery utility,
but you can kiss all your applications goodbye, no chance at all your gonna
fix that, and the more you do on the PC. the less of a chance your going to
recover anything. You asked for help a bit too late.
