Offline Folders

Plesae can someone help me with this?

I have a user that has had his PC locked down so that he
cannot set any of his folders to work offline. Does
anyone know where I can find the setting I need to enable
the configuration of offline folders. When you go to
Tools --> Folder Options --> Offline Files The page is
greyed out.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Probably best to consult with the people responsible for the "lockdown".
Also make sure user has permissions to the network folder in question.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Rob,

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the person who locked
down the PC left 6 months ago and didn't document
anything. All I've been told is that ab group policy was
applied and then he deleted the Group Policy Object from
teh PC so that it can't be edited (if that makes sense?)

The folder I'm trying to make available offline is the
users Home directory. They and administrators are the
only people that have access to that folder.

Thanks

Michelle
