Offline Files: Access Denied Only at Logon

I have a user using offline files from a mapped network drive. When they work
on their data offline, then return back to the office and log in, the user is
presented with the error Access to FILENAME is denied on
\\SEVER\SHARE\FOLDER. If they then log off, the synchronization completes
successfully. Why is it that this user cannot successfully synchronize the
data when logging on, but can synchronize successfully when logging off? Any
help would be appreciated.

Is this user using a Dell Latitude Notebook by chance. We saw this exact
issue and found that it was the Embassy Trust Suite that comes with the
machine that was causing the issue. After uninstalling this, the sync worked
without issues.

Thanks so much for replying. Yes, this user is using a Dell notebook with
the Dell Embassy Trust Suite installed. I will try having that removed.
