Offline files

I used offline files for some time with no problem. All of
the sudden I'm getting the flashing icon (it looks like
an "A", or the star trek badge, in my toolbar and says I
have files that need synchronizing. I was not disconnected
before this happen. When I try to sync, I get an
error "Unable to merge offline changes
on '\\Desktop\drive' The parameter is incorrect.

I can't find any help on what is causing this or how to
get my files synchronized.
