Offline Files

I am no longer using offline file synchronization at logon. How do I get
rid of the screen which still asks me after logon about possible
synchronization of my "current home page".

open "my computer", choose tools/folder options/offline
files tab. You should be able to remove ticks from the
settings. Also, if you have an icon on the taskbar for
offline files, you should be able to disable/delete them
from here

Configure Offline Files policy in AdministrativeTemplates/Network of both
Computer and User hives.
