I have a user who needs to use offline files. His PC is
set fro this, the folders have been made available
offline and he has full control permissions. I have tried
making the same files available offline on my own pc
(with his user name and password), and all is well.
However when the user tries, they initially
download/synchronise, but when he tries to access them
offline either some subfolders are missing (include
subfolders was ticked) or some files just don't appear
(he gets a blank window on opening a folder)or on other
occasions when trying to open a folder, the "eggtimer"
comes on and just stays there (hangs) until he eventually
has to "end task" or reboot the computer.sometimes he
even gets an "access denied" message despite his
permissions and the fact that his account allows me to
view them .
Any ideas what may be causing this odd/erratic
behaviour?. I'm assuming it must be something on his pc
(rather than the server / folders themselves)as other
users don't have this problem.
