offline file content folder location

Can the location of the offline file content folder be
configured?

My C drive is nearly full because of sync offline files
and I have another drive that has lotsa space that I'd
like to use for this purpose. Any help or pointers would
be appreciatated.

Those files are located in %windir%\CSC (hidden folder).

To move it, you should use the tool cachemov.exe from the Win2k resource kit
(you need to buy it). Here is an applicable paragraph from MS TechNet:

Moving the Cache
The only way to safely move the hidden system folder (%systemroot%\CSC)
is by using the Offline Files Cache Mover (Cachemov.exe) tool available on
the Windows2000 Resource Kit companion CD. You can move the cache
database to another location on a fixed disk only.

Here is a workaround if you don't have the cachemov utility:

So after looking around some for cachemov.exe, I see I
have to spend at least $150 to get just that one utility
from the resource kit. Can't find a download of just that
utility.

Seems like an aweful desirable feature to have supplied in
the OS and not charge for it!
