offline fatabase on laptop not remembering TASKS dates

Hi

I have outlook2007 with BCM sitting on my windows home server with the main
shared database. I have 2 laptops that connect to it no problems and both
have off line database copies. when i sync either of the laptops with new
tasks with the server, the new tasks appear fine on the server, and the new
tasks also appear on the other on-line pc's as one would expect. howeverwhen
i then disconnect the laptops, all the task dates dissappear on the laptops,
but still appear on the server. if i then reconnect either laptop to the
server they all appear again on the laptops. the tasks are there, synced
properly etc but they refuse to stay/show on the offline databases on the
laptops.

any ideas why it is doing this?

What is your mechanism/technique for accomplishing the synchronization?

Are you using database backups?
