Offline Activation

I bought Windows XP Home Edition and installed it on my
backup computer which is offline. The Bootup of Windows
gives me a message that says I have to activate Windows
by accessing the internet. Since I am offline, how do I
activate Windows offline so I can use the computer?
Right now thw computer is down because Windows will not
allow me to log-in without Windows activation. Endless
loop.

Please don't give that pecific number. While ith may be accurate for
most of North America, other parts of the world have other numbers.
