I just did an install of Office 2007 Professional. Ran/installed all the
latest updates by choosing Office Button - Resources - Updates. Every thing
seemed to go fine. Now when in any Office App - Selecting Help - Online I get
a message that says "Not Connected, To see additional and updated content
from Office Online click here." Clickin does noting but bring up the message
again. I can scroll down in that window and click on the Office On-Line Help
Link and I go to Office On-Line web page, but I can't get on-line help in the
Help window. I discovered this when I went to FIle - Save As - Find other
addins for other file formats. I was trying to get to the PDF Addin
converter. I added office online to my trusted internet and turned off popup
blocker but no luck?

Anyone experience this? Know hwe to resolve?

Thanks
John

In the bottom right corner of the Help window, there is a button that
probably says "Offline." Click on this to get a menu and select "Show
content from Office Online." The button label will now say "Connected to
Office Online." But if you are getting a "not connected" message when you
try to connect to Office Online through Word Options | Resources, then are
you sure you have an active Internet connection?

Note, however, that you can get to the Save as PDF add-in directly by going
to

with your browser.

Thanks Sussane,
I'll use the link you provided.

I should have stated in my post that Clicking on the "Show content...." did
not work. I simply keep getting the Not Connected message. I have a valid
internet connection. If I click on any links in the offiline content I go
right to them. I'm guessing it might have something to do with a firewall
setting somewhere?

Thanks
John
