I installed office xp small business 2002 on my new vista 64 bit OS laptop.
I have many word documents. At the beginning was working well but from today
i can not open my word document and excel. Every time I open the system will
not allow. It say there is a problem with office 2002 and send me a link to
upgrade to word 2007 or to look for update on line. I updated
everything...still does not work...

Any suggestions?

Post in one of the Office newsgroups where you'll get the attention of
Office experts. Here is a list of all the MS public newsgroups so you
can find the right one:

Office XP is not certified as compatible with Windows Vista. But as Malke
noted, its best you post in the Microsoft Office newsgroups:
microsoft.public.office.setup

If you can't resolve the issue soon, you might want to try OpenOffice.org
as a substitute. A full featured office suite which will import and export
MS Office files as well as several other formats. You can download and
install in a few minutes for free.
