I have an Office XP Service Pack 3 update from MS in queue. Why would I need
this as I am running Office 2007 on Vista?

Anyone know?

Did you perform an upgrade from XP where Office 2003 was installed? Did you
ever have Office 2003 on that machine at any point in time?

Ah.. That's it.
Thanks!

No problem. Glad to help.

It's a shame that happened anyway. If you uninstall an app then you should
never be bothered with its updates.

Tim;
Do you have ANY components of Office 2003 still installed such as
Word, OneNote etc?
If you have anything at all, you will see the updates.
Were there some components in Office 2003 that are not in Office 2007
or you chose not to install?
Look closely.

??? This was already solved.

What I don't understand, the update is specific to Office "XP", how come it
relates to Office "2003"?

Who is Justin?

Oh, he must be one of the people who qualified for my KF awhile back. :)
