Vista Home Premium Service Packs...

Atreyu

I recently got high-speed internet and was able to finally take advantage of
a lot of Vista updates. However, the update history shows Service Pack 1
updated, Service Pack 2 doesn't show up as to be downloaded. Further, when
I click START > Right click COMPUTER, I understood below display of my Vista
version that it should display Service Pack installs, but Service Pack 1
isn't displaying there.

Can anyone shed any light on what may be wrong, and/or what I might do to
correct this?

TIA.

Thanks Philo, but I know this. Please re-read my query.

To reiterate: I do not understand why Service Pack 1 shows as being
succesfully installed in my Vista Update History, BUT the install does NOT
display below my Vista version info accessed as I described in my initial
posted query. In other words, in one place it shows Service Pack 1
installed successfully, but in another place, it does not.

FURTHER, since my inital posted query I downloaded and ran Windows 7 Upgrade
Advisor, and the results from running W7UpgradeAdvisor suggests I install
Service Pack 1 before attempting to upgrade to Windows 7!

Anyone reading here have any other info regrarding this? TIA!
