Office XP Excel missing exit, minimize buttons

Strange thang happened to my Excel program. Started up and now the
large minimize,maximize, and exit buttons that usually are in the upper
right corner of the program taskbar do not appear. What in the name
of the almighty have I done to cause this mutiny and loss of the
controls that I have taken for granted.
Someone please help.

Maybe you're in Full Screen view.
To turn it off, choose View>Full Screen.

Is this happening in other programs?

Do you "skin" your windows?

Could be a corrupted font also.
