Office Button does nothing when clicked

I have a user that will be composing a new email, creating a new appointment,
etc and when he clicks the Office Button nothing appears.

Has anyone ever seen this?

clicking on it?

Yes, it is the Office Button in the upper left corner, but he is not double
clicking. Just single clicking.

Any ideas?

Try double clicking - my daughter's 'sticks' some times. If that fails, see
if a reboot fixes it.
